Privacy Policy for CABE

Product: CABE Browser Extension Last Updated: July 7, 2026

ZumiLabs ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy details our data collection and privacy practices for the ZumiLabs CABE browser extension ("CABE").

1. Local-Only Boundary & No Telemetry

CABE is engineered to run entirely locally in your browser. We do not host or operate backend analytics engines, cloud databases, or tracking servers for CABE. There are no tracking scripts, beacons, or telemetry processes included. We do not collect, transmit, share, or store any of your bookmarks, contexts, configurations, or browsing histories.

2. Use of Browser Storage

All of CABE's configurations—including your custom workspaces, workspace titles, bookmark sets, URL templates, and domain reachability triggers—are saved locally inside the browser's extension sandbox sandbox storage (chrome.storage.local). This data stays isolated on your physical machine and is never synced or uploaded to third-party databases by CABE.

3. Active Network reachability checks

To support auto-context switching, CABE tests which local networks are reachable by dispatching lightweight, periodic HTTP HEAD requests strictly to the domain triggers you have explicitly configured (e.g. http://localhost:3000). These requests are resolved entirely inside your local browser thread and do not contact any external ZumiLabs servers.

4. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect modifications in browser extensions policies or security updates. Changes will be posted here with an updated "Last Updated" date.
